oh my gosh where do I start.

Hannah and I first got chatting when she sent me her wedding inquiry last year. We talked about her vision for her day and her growing photography business! We decided to plan a shoot together and now I feel like that was forever ago and I have just known her for way longer than a year. We have taken lots of photos together of herself and her *then* fiancee Mario. The two of them are so creative-- Mario is a singer/songwriter known as Ponteix, and Hannah runs her own photography business as well as an online vintage shop called Flatland Vintage (which explains why the styling was so beautiful!!)

These two are so loved by their families and friends, and I truly felt honoured to have been asked to capture their day and to witness this moment in their lives. It sounds cheesy, I know. But what other job lets you be so involved in such a personal day?

They started the day getting ready in Mario's family home (the groomsmen), and Mario & Hannah's own home (bridesmaids). Hannah is what I aspire to be as a bride, she was so calm even though she was still making decor the morning of, and to top it off she drove to the ceremony in her dress and snakeskin heels.

The ceremony was held under a beautiful big tree, with Hannah's parents walking her down the isle together. They popped some Champagne, spent time with their guests, and then we drove off in a cool old truck to take photos with the cows on Mario's family land (my dream).

The day ended with a dance a gym that kept me asking if I was at the 90s prom I had dreamed of as kid. It don't think the day could have been more them.
